2025 Reservations are available through Rec.gov. We will no longer take reservations for tent camping in Badger’s Den Campgrounds, Eagles Nest Campgrounds and the RV Village through our website.

In the spirit of our name, we couldn’t be prouder to offer camping at our two campgrounds and the RV Village located on the resort. Whether you want to “rough it” with just a tent, or wheel in your decked-out vehicle, we are here to provide the most comfortable Tahoe experience possible. Guests not only receive instant access to nature, but also easily access to Lake Tahoe and Camp Richardson Resort amenities.
We accept service dogs only. We are not a pet-friendly resort.

Tent Camping

Our two campgrounds, Badger’s Den Campground and Eagle’s Nest Campground provide a Lake Tahoe and Camp Richardson Resort experience unlike any other. Featuring beach access, and all the amenities you can think of within walking distance, guests get to bask in the remarkable beauty of Tahoe without sacrificing the resort experience. Each campground has a bear-proof box, picnic table, and fire pit. Check out our campground map as well as pricing and rules below.
RV Village
2026 reservations will be available November 1st through recreation.gov.
The dump station and bathrooms will close for the 2025 season dependent on freezing temperatures. Please call us at 530-494-2228 to inquire about operational status.
