The historic hotel at Camp Richardson is nearing its 100^th birthday in 2024. As Lake Tahoe continues to grow and innovate, Camp Richardson Resort continues to provide experiences in the same style as the visitors of this area have participated in for over a century (although there are some new technologies for your comfort, safety, and fun!). This includes the ability to take a bike ride through the surrounding environment, or a vigorous winter trek on groomed winter trails.

At the resort, we offer a variety of winter and summer equipment rentals to help you enjoy the lake and trails. Items you can rent include bikes, kayaks, and other non-motorized watercraft, or winter snowshoes and cross-country skis. We want to continue the visions of Captain Alonzo Richardson and his son-in-law, Ray Knisley, who spent much of their lives developing this location for the enjoyment of their contemporaries and future generations, helping visitors to sustainably enjoy the resources of the resort is still our number one goal a century later.
